I'm originally from New York (home of the best pizza and bagels in the world!) and now live in San Francisco. I exploit every opportunity to travel. I enjoy doing anything physical/outdoorsy (sports, hiking, kayaking, etc.), cooking and tasting local delicacies, and learning about new cultures.

I travel not to check off boxes on tourist hotspots, but rather to truly understand a culture and its people. Sure, I'll take half a day or a day to see the "must-see" sights, but I want to spend the majority of my travels living and doing as the locals do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am an avid world traveler who has traveled to over 40 countries from a very young age. I relish the opportunity to travel on my own terms - wherever, whenever and with whomever I want. I am always eager to travel to new destinations, meet fellow couchsurfers and learn about their lives, customs and pursuits.

I have had the pleasure of being welcomed by amazing hosts in Iceland, Austria and the Czech Republic, and have met eager couchsurfers in California. I look forward to making more new friends around the globe.

Interests

Cooking, eating and drinking local specialties, exploring nature (or doing anything active, really), entrepreneurship. Above all, I love traveling and meeting people from around the world to learn about their culture and way of life.
