About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To continue to become more open-minded, to rekindle my learning of the Italian language and learn others as well, and to see most of the world before life demands me to settle down and be (more) responsible 😉

ABOUT ME
My love for travel all started with a semester abroad in Florence, Italy. I fell in love and have been trying to get back since. I studied art and Illustration at Syracuse University and now I run a small handmade jewelry business. I was living on Long Island (New York) and working full time in the art department of a Print Production company, being responsible and saving up for a wild adventure, and now I'm on it. I took the plunge, quit my safe job and embarked on a year of living the alternative lifestyle I've always wanted.
I finished a month spent backpacking on the Appalachian Trail, an approximately 300 mile section. Next i plan on traveling to Thailand and 9+ European countries for the next 7 months.
I love nature, the outdoors and being active. Gyms bore me to death; My alternative fitness regimen consists of caving, rock climbing, hiking, backpacking, yoga, and aerial fitness like pole fitness, aerial silks and lyra! I'm low-maintenance and don't need the fancy things to travel at all, easy to get along with, fun-loving and crazy in a good way once you get to know me :)

Ho trovato una frase bella a Firenze prima di partire, scritto sotto la ponte Santa Trinita: "In tutta la mia vita non avei mai pensato di trovare una come te ti amero' sempre"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The thought of being welcomed into the home of a local native is so cool, and such a down-to-earth experience that you'll never get with a touristy guided thing and a hotel. Other cultures fascinate me and I like to think people are mostly good in nature. I love meeting people from other countries! I haven't been able to travel for years but I'm on a grand adventure now! I can't host unfortunately because I'm on the road without a steady home for awhile

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I kept a really nice sketchbook/scrapbook from Italy and now have a world travel sketchbook I'm really proud of 😊

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help teach my native language, English, and hopefully learn a bit of some other languages! I can help clean up around the house, share my art, provide my perspective and teach you some aerial skills if there's a hoop lying around 😜

Io posso insegnare la mia lingua, inglese, mentra imparo italiano meglio! Anche, mi piace provare insegnare arte, come io lo vedo, come io vedo tutto, el mondo.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States
