Overview
About Me
I'm probably the biggest enthusiast I know. Really passionate about stuff - architecture, art, social issues, science, technology, literature, music etc etc. Always in search of adventures, part-time introvert, part-time party animal (however cringe this may sound).
Ex-resident of London (forever my second home), currently missing it to death and planning a trip there around May. Host invitations or just suggestions to grab a drink always welcome!
(Also, going to Crete - Chania beginning of May, so anyone willing to hang out would be greatly appreciated.)
Meeting new people and seeing new places excites me more than anything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Haven't actually stayed with a CS host yet but I regularly dash off on spontaneous trips somewhere (around Europe mostly) so hoping to one day finally make use of it! also whenever I'm traveling I'm always up for meeting up with new people through CS hangouts to grab a drink, have a chat, or explore the city I'm in in whichever way possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
music - mostly alternative, indie rock, (I have a weak spot for British bands), grunge, a bit of punk stuff from ye olde days, a bit of rap stuff, some experimental stuff, some classical pieces.
absolute bookworm, love Kerouac, Ayn Rand, Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, Salinger, Remarque, Wilde, Wells, W.Somerset Maugham, Murakami, Bradbury, Fowles and loads loads loads more.
movies - too many to list, but my top favorites are mr nobody, fight club, buffalo 66, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, girl interrupted, the fountain, pulp fiction etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
created some stuff I'm really proud of, ranging from arch projects to drawings to writing&poetry.
also, I've seen pretty much all of my favorite bands live by now and met some of them in person, been to a few music festivals and had amazing experiences there, traveled Europe extensively, lived in a different country, had some really fullfilling and creative jobs, and most importantly met some absolutely fascinating people throughout my journeys who truly make it all worthwhile.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could share a fair few stories from my travelling experience, as well as from my lengthy academic journey in the art, design & architecture field (having studied in the UK and Russia).
I also speak Russian, English and Italian fluently, and teach English as second language so I'm always up for language practice. Otherwise, my skill set includes drawing/painting in traditional media, architectural/3D modeling software, photoshop etc etc on a fairly high level. I also write quite a bit.
Besides, I've read a shit ton of books in my life and constantly in the middle of one, so definitely capable of holding up a conversation on pretty much any imaginable topic :)
