About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Much of this profile was written in my early 20s, but I'm glad it's not that different these days.
ABOUT ME
I am fairly simple. I like nice weather, birds, all sorts of good times and I like to travel. I like to drink, I like to read, I get along best when I don't entirely agree.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I'm just using CS as a way to help soak up more about the places I am going to write about, but many of my stays have turned into friendships. As soon as I return and have a place of my own, I'll be thrilled to host.
Interests
real life mysteries, roaring winds, land surveying but not geomatics, novelty napkins, helpful animals (donkeys), manifest destiny, very concentrated dish soap, truth serum.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like Marquez, Fitzgerald, Hemingway, Pynchon, Kafka, Wallace's nonfiction, e.e. cummings, bulgakov, Dostoevsky, all that good stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw a bird with a plastic bag caught on its head in the park. I tried to take it off, but that damn thing flew around and flapped on my leg and tried to claw me. So I sat on a bench and felt like a real idiot, while this bird slowly died in the sun. Then this old asian man who is doing tai chi sees the bird, comes over it, and like a magicians, yanks the bag off the bird as it catches the wind and flies off.
