About Me

Currently on a road trip with a good friend. We are slowly working our way up to Alaska.

ABOUT ME

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” – St. Augustine
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain
“A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving.” – Lao Tzu
I am an outgoing, honest, easygoing, funny, and friendly person. I love to live my dreams, travel the world, meet interesting people from different cultures, share experiences, learn, make new friends, think out of the box, smile, be positive, laugh and enjoy life to the fullest.
It brings me great joy to make others laugh, and to help them forget about their worries, to leave them happier than when I met them.

PHILOSOPHY

Be yourself and never stop learning. Positive energy attracts more of the same. Live your dreams. Time is worth more than gold. Help one another. Make people happy. Learn from everything and everyone. Keep traveling, and keep smiling.

Interests

Traveling, old and new friends, meeting people, speaking learning different languages, music, photography, sailing, snowboarding, scuba diving, hiking, camping, trecking, motorcycles, swimming, fishing, boating, cooking, sushi, skydiving, bungee jumping, reading, archery, and too many more, just about anything worth experiencing. Truly interested in most anything.

Music, Movies, and Books

A bit of everything. It started out with Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Doors, Janice Joplin, and the likes. From there it just blossomed in many directions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At the risk of sounding cheesy: I've snowboarded down amazing mountains. Jumped out of a plane. Been in some glorious nature. Traveled in Southeast Asia for six months. Spent a bunch of time in Europe. Traveled Latin America for over 3 years. Made it to Ushuaia from Guatemala without any flights. Along the way I learned Spanish, and became fluent, made good friends, saw and experienced amazing unbelievable things, people, cultures, nature, water, spent time with tribes in the Amazon, went on some cool treks, motorcycle adventures. Worked as an English teacher. Cheated death a few times. Volunteered on many projects.
Most amazing though have been the friendships and memories made, and interactions had with amazing people all over the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning about anything and everything.
I have worked as an English teacher, and could also teach Romanian, Spanish, and anything else from my list of interests.
