ABOUT ME
Since I was a kid my parents taught me the value of travelling and also appreciating different places and cultures both in my native country (Colombia) and overseas. Therefore, since then, I've had the opportunity to travel around the Americas and Europe.

In 2015, I decided to enroll in a Masters degree in the UK in International Development. This decision was part of my intention of make a shift and enrich my more than 7 years of working experience in CSR.

Now that I have finished my dissertation related with Empowerment and development in Asia my interest regarding this amazing part of the world has grown. So that, in the coming months, I'm planning to travel around Asia and learn more about the region and its culture and why not find a job over there.

I am a simple guy who enjoys travelling, discover new and non-common places. I love food and I believe that is through local food that you can experience a culture. I also enjoy nature and learn from local traditions. I believe that travel opens the mind to a new and broad understanding of the world.

Interests

I enjoy travelling and meeting people from different parts of the world, learn from different cultures.

I really enjoy trying new different and local food. I also like to cook and learning how to cook local recipes. And why not, I may teach some of those specialities that I know how to cook (not an expert ;))

I may enjoy sightseeing, but I think that I really have a better experience when I can spend time in a new place by walking local areas, visiting a market, talking with locals and discovering traditional food.

I'm really interested in learning how to meditated and living a peaceful and happy life.

I like to enjoy nature ranging from going to the beach to enjoy the view from the mountains. I also like music, going to concerts and hanging out with friends.

I heard about CS while traveling in Romania, so now I want to live the experience as a guest. However, I will be pleased to host traveller once I will back home.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music:
I like a variety of music genres: rock, post rock, r&b, salsa, pop, classic. However, I'm really open to new genres and styles.

Movie:
Documentaries, Accion, History and cartoons. I can't pick a favourite movie yet, but I'd recommend "El abrazo de la Serpiente"

Books:
Same, I don't have a favourite one, but can recommend: "The perfume " by Patrick Süskind. (The Book is better than the movie). Any of the short stories of Anton Chekhov.
