About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To tell the world that life is better when you're kind and generous.

ABOUT US

My partner and I are living in one of those "this is the most beautiful place on earth" places. We live a simple life, good food, kind hearts, and go see the world whenever we can. Time flies by and suddenly my son is 18. So the little guy in the picture is now a big guy living his own life. My girlfriend is Japanese and I am German. We don't have much but we like to share. Couchsurfing is a great way to meet people. We aren't much into the party scene and don't drink, smoke or do drugs. So if that's what you're looking for you might be better off on someone else's couch.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After taking a long break from hosting, we would like to invite guests again to stay with us from time to time. Since we both work, timing is important. We can only host for 2 days at a time. We can accommodate 2 people at a time if you are ok sharing a queen mattress with each other. You'll have your own room (the actual bedroom) while we are sleeping in the living room.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couchsurfing for many years while traveling well before this site existed. I also have had people from all over crash on my couch since I was 18 years old. And I absolutely love it! Great way to meet people and make friends. For my partner, this is a completely new thing.

Interests

We collect honey from all around the world. Love that stuff. The more rare, local and unique the better.

We love tea, especially green tea and Maccha Tea. Make tea, not war.
