About Me

Phonographer, designer and word bender. Addicted to sound and determined to keep flaneuring in search of the perfect soundscape. I’ve archived cultural heritage and pioneered community radio in the Balkans. Showcased my work around world and even got invited to give a lecture at Venice Biennial of Architecture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want to learn about the city that I'm visiting from the locals. My work on sound mapping has thought me that everybody has an interesting story about their neighborhood and that these stories are pure gold compared to the info you get from regular tourist info points and guides.

Music, Movies, and Books

My work in radio has thought me that all music can be appreciated in different situations. I am a vinyl record collector and love various music genres.
My favorite book authors are Walter Benjamin and Joseph Campbell.
I have seen to many good movies in order to name just a few.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Few years ago I have started the sound mapping project called Sound Map of Belgrade. In this project my idea was to hear stories from the locals in my city and use cyber-cartography in order to bring this stories closer to younger generations. The project has became one of the public's favorite new media projects in the recent years in Belgrade. This led to the fact that our team got invited to give a lecture at the Venice Biennial of Architecture on the topic of how new media can be used to preserve architectural non material heritage.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn new things and I am willing to share all my knowledge with people. I have thought at several workshops and am slowly starting to get into academic lecturing at Universities.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Mostly good vibes and great time. I am a very positive and friendly person and I would really like to get to know you. My interests are wide and we shall definitely find a topic to talk to. Also I love to cook and I would love to make you some of my favorite dishes. Also, I can offer a helping hand around the house.
