Overview
About Me
I am an AB- indivudual who never drank mother's milk and did not sleep a wink until I turned one.
I am an incurable romantic who can gaze at the setting sun for ages or listen to the stories told by sea waves.
I am a mature and serious language teacher who adores fooling around with friends, eating ice-cream in the street in winter and playing children games in any season.
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", so I am everything you will be able to discern! =)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The more cultures you embrace, the richer in spirit you become!
I strongly believe that meeting locals helps me appreciate the full beauty of the place I stay at and soak up its atmosphere, as well as get a deeper understanding of my host's country, its history, customs and traditions. In turn, I am willing to bring Russian culture closer to others and clarify what the mysterious Russian Soul means.
All in all, our communication makes us more sophisticated, versatile and tolerant, bridging the gap between our cultures and making the world more united!
Interests
Polyglotism (the more, the merrier), writing poetry in three languages, watching hockey at the stadium, cycling, going to rock concerts and rock festivals, discovering extraordinary in what seems ordinary (people, places, events etc), inventing out-of-this-world dishes while using traditional recipes, admiring antique art in museums, sipping beer at the pub with my friends when discussing politics and philosophy, waking up at dawn to watch the sunrise from a rooftop, playing survival-horror video games, walking around unknown cities until it gets dark and then looking for Ursa Major in the dark sky...
Well, long story short, my interests show that "I and Me are as alike as chalk and cheese" after all ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Born to my parents who were already really old at that time, I was a real miracle to them, so now I do my best to thank them and everybody who becomes dear to me by making every day of their life a small but precious wonder!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach my hosts any of the 6 languages I speak and would like to learn a snippet or two of their mother tongues.
I am a decent cook famous for my mouth-watering pastry (apple Crumble, cheese cakes, brownies, oatflakes pie etc), so I can cook you something and/or teach you how to make it.
I would like to share my experiences, my worldviews and all the warmth of my heart to the extent my hosts want to)
