About Me
Hey! My name is Vova. I was born in village in the Nizhny Novgorod region in Russia. Few years ago I moved to Saint Petersburg to my girlfriend :)
I work as a game designer and also draw UI (User Interface). I like to get new emotions, meet people and love cozy companies. I also love various activities: snowboarding, ice skating, board games and video games and much more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel with my girlfriend. Our favorite way is hitchhiking. it helps to meet people and learn about different cultures. But now we want to try a more intimate communication and because our salvation is CouchSurfing. Previously, we used local counterparts CouchSurfing to travel to Russia. And now we want to join this large community, bringing together people around the world )

Music, Movies, and Books
I really got into fiction. I love fictional worlds and study them, go into details. As a child, I read all the books of the Stalker series. By the way, the game I'm working on is also on this topic. Now my favorite authors are the Strugatsky brothers. Some of the most interesting books by these authors are "Hard to be a god" and "Roadside Picnic". Someday I dream to write a book with my fantasy world )
What about music... I prefer Russian music, especially old Russian rock. But I'm always interested in unusual sounds and deep meaning in the songs )
I watch atmospheric films and TV shows. The genre is not so important, the main thing is to be interesting and want to think about or discuss something. From the last: Rick and morty, The Girl with All the Gifts, Black mirror, Chernobyl, Joker, Guardians of the Galaxy, BoJack Horseman, The Avengers, Silicon Valley.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At age 12, I jumped with a parachute. And a couple of years ago I also parachuted without an instructor. It was very emotional and impressive!)
Once traveling by hitchhiking, I met an interesting person. As a result, he brought me to his village and settled me in a pro-Orthodox camp for children as a guest. It was very unusual )
Teach, Learn, Share
I will gladly share design tips if this is useful to you. I can play the guitar and can play something )
And of course I would listen to your interesting stories and tell mine :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
