I love to get to know the locals, not just the cities.
I also prefer adventure to formal comfort. Low budget.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I started volunteering .. summer workcamps, usually two weeks long, are really the best way to explore foreign countries for me so far. You live in a temporary family of people from all over the world and are in touch with the locals all the time. An' you got to make yourself understood just with your English skills. This is a quite different way of living abroad from the classic tourist style.
