Hey everyone! My name is Vladimir Pankov, I'm from a tiny city in Siberia, Russia but now studying International relations in Moscow. Once I had an opportunity to be a foreign exchange student in the US for one year. It was exactly the time when I realized that cultural exchange and traveling is the best way to promote mutual understanding between the people of the world. And, of course, have some fun :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling can become quite expensive for students without fixed income. However, traveling on a budget may assist in meeting other travelers and people passionate about scuba-diving in other culture. Majoring in international relations, I value this cross-cultural communication between cultures that can contribute to mutual understanding in order to prevent conflicts.

Interests

I'm passionate about politics, economics. I've done 7 years of swimming and 5 years of horse-riding. Now I'm addicted to fitness. I love new technology and completed an internship at ostrovok.ru. Anyway, we can talk about pretty much everything: from space exploration to Portuguese local cuisine :)
