My name is Vladimir. I am 32 years old. I live in Moscow with my wife Natalia and son Daniil. My main job is software development. But I spend a lot of time for my another activity - singing-songwriting. I am not a professional musician, but I still give concerts and take part at music festivals with my band "Coast of Utopia".

My wife Natalia is speech therapist in kindergarten. Our shared passion is travelling and active tourism. We have already visited about 30 countries and don't want to stop. Also we have good expierence in mountain hiking, speleogic expeditions and sea yachting.

Our son Daniil is one year old. Sometimes he can be a bit noisy but it is rare. He is very-very cute. Despite his young age he has already flown about 10 times on airplanes and has good travelling experience :)

We are cultured, friendly, outgoing persons and have no pernicious habits =)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are totally new to couchsurfing (I have registered here in 2013 but forgot about it for a long time). But I have a lot of friends who have great experience in couchsurfing as well in role of guests and hosts. I think that it is a great invention and would like to try it =) I think couchsurfing is a good opportunity for interesting acquaintances, broadening the mind and experience exchange.

I like music in very various genres, especially songs with good poetry. And I write and sing my own songs.
Likewise I like movies of any genres but not stupid.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I have climbed to the mountain with height of about 5200 meters and descend to a vertical cave with depth about 400 meters :)
- I had a trip across the USA for about one month. We drove from California to Seattle, than had a mini-trip in Alaska and than drove from Seattle to Boston.
- In Alaska we had found magic bus (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_McCandless) in the wild.
- I watched the volcano erupt from the board of the yacht in Sicilia.
- And a lot of other amazing things =)))
