I am an accountant and a computer programmer with a passion for travel and meeting new people and learning world cultures. Over the last 20 years, I have travelled to 27 countries and 35 states and have always been amazed at the diversity of the globe that we live in.

I have been a guest in Washington, DC and became best friends with my host, visiting several more times. I will be glad to share my home, and knowledge of my current hometown (Durham) with any future travelers.

Interests

I have passion for outdoors and love hiking, running, climbing, paragliding, etc. I also enjoy going to sporting events while travelling - the most memorable experience perhaps has been going to see Tour de France. Finally, i love trying out new foods and am always in search of great restaurants, wherever I go.

I enjoy going to see Broadway plays in Durham and Raleigh, North Carolina opera and North Carolina Symphony.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking through the jungles and climbing the volcanoes of Central America. After living in big cities all my life, staying in an isolate jungle location felt amazing.
Camping for a month in Europe - had a trip of lifetime and a chance to see the gorgeous scenery of the Mediterranean and learn more about the history of Western Europe.
Spending honeymoon in Europe - Bavarian Alps and Neuschweinstein Castle, going on Sound of Music tour in Salzburg and seeing the old Zuirch.
