We prefer to host in the weekends while we are both working during weekdays.

I have a warm, friendly and caring personality. Family and friends are very important for me. I don't like to make too much noise.
I am social worker for 15 years and started to work as art therapist since 2017.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to meet people all over the world. It's also an occasion to practice different languages and learn more about other cultures. Sharing is so beautiful...

- that we appreciate you send us a couch surfing request with a completed profile and we prefer no smokers
- that I don't accept friend request without meeting you in person!
- we appreciate when you read my entire profile and eventually Franky's profile

Living in between two important cities of Belgium: Gent and Brussels. So it's ideal to stay here and go on visit the other towns. When you come around februari, you can maybe witness the big Carnaval of Aalst which is very known in Flanders!

When you want to couch surf in my house we are happy to host you but:

*must know that we see it more than just offering you a bed to sleep, we like to get to know you a little bit and like interesting chats!
*When you don't have time to fill in your profile, a nice Request message can help to convince me to host you :) but we prefer full profile. I try to reply to everyone, but I don't like 1 line messages and I won't reply at that
*When you come with your friend, I want to ask you to send his/her couch surfing profile too
* be aware that shops around here close at 7PM
* couchsurfing is about sharing!

When we are coming to your place, we will behave like we prefer our guests to behave! We will respect your daily routine, and follow the house rules! We are used to travel, and we can be independant (so no worries if you don't have the time to show us your city...).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very positive! We stayed with couchsurfers in China and Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Lille, Granville (Normandy), Innsbruck,........
In 2017 we surfed couches in St Petersburg, Belgium (Gent), London and it was each time a great experience!

I also received several couch surfers in my house and it was a lot of fun!

2015 was a remarqueble year for us and we had a lot of fun to host 50 couchsurfers all over the world!
In 2016 we hosted: Sara&Montse from Spain, Grzesiek from Poland, Suzanna from Belgium, Vina from Indonesia, Rixt&Marnix from the Netherlands,...
In 2017 we received Ann from France, Maria and her BF from Argentina, Daniela from Mexico, Adran&Ada&Janka from UK, Nazerke from Kazachstan,....
In 2018 we received Ronney&Marcela from Switz/Colombia, Lana from Russia...

End of 2015 we also started to participate at couchsurfing meetings 30+ in Ghent. Until now it is also a lovely experience and way to meet other couchsurfers, we had a good time and some interesting talks!!
In 2017 &2018 we organised ourself a first couchsurfing event during Carnaval of Aalst!

I want to share my travel experience, knowledge of different languages.
As a Chinese girl who grew up in an European country, I lived between two cultures. It was a difficult but also learning experience that defined my personality.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Share different couch surfing and travel expieriences.

Certainly I will share some time with you, although I am pretty much occupied with a full time job and evening classes. So I will not be able to show you around... But when you say in advance when you will come, I will organize to have some time with you! In weekends we can spent more time with couchsurfers! I do my best to give you advise about interesting cities to visit nearby Aalst.

I love to share breakfast time with couch surfers, cook together a fantastic meal or to share some tea time (depending of you of course)!

When we are couchsurfing ourselves, we like to cook together, have a nice chat and when you like we can bring you some good Belgian chocolates!
