Music, Movies, and Books

Oh so many...

Books - I studied literature, how can you make me pick favorites?? lots of classics, British and American Modernists, varied nonfiction... and childrens books!!

Music - Always love to discover new music. Always have a love for the Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell, Cesaria Evora, lots of jazz, lots of hip-hop (the good thoughtful stuff and the silly ass-n'-titties stuff), classic rock, also Regina Spektor, Melissa Ferrick, etc etc etc. And, for dancing - breaks, reggae, dancehall, crazy Balkan beats, and any live band with a hell of a lot of energy.

Can teach/do:
Writing/editing, particularly for academic writing and grantwriting; research skills; figuring out how to solve just about any practical life problem
Turning an idea into a concrete project plan.
Techgeeky stuff.
Life coaching.
Advice giving.
Especially when it's advice related to living life with as much enjoyment as possible. Or just how to have a wonderful NYC day.
