My name is Victoria and I have a traveler's heart. I am inspired and at my best when I'm learning about cultures, phrases from any language, and all kinds of history (but mostly WWII). I love to travel and to experience new things that I have never seen before. I am incredibly open-minded and accepting to pretty much everyone.

I am determined to learn another language. But now I am on my sixth language (Chinese) and still failing. :P In other words, I am the master of elementary level languages. Yes, I can say a lot of bullshit in at least 10 languages.

I'm currently living in Beijing, China. Can't host yet but I'd love to meet up!

I'm on this Earth to live. My definition of living isn't tied to the idea of going to school, getting married, having kids, grow old. My definition is to enrich by traveling for fulfillment. See the world, learn the world, meet the world, and in return show/tell the other half of the world. I've learned more about myself and the world by traveling, not by formal education. The greatest rich is those memories obtained.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am mostly interested in meeting up for a drink or sightseeing. I'm never really in a good situation to host as I always seem to be a poor student sharing a flat with people who aren't CS savvy. But I definitely love showing people the sights.

I've met quite a few amazing people from Couchsurfing! Most of the people you meet here are really open-minded and even sometimes inspiring. :) Travelers have a sort of beauty/charm to them in that they're not afraid to break out of the secluded bubble that they were raised in. This is a rare trait and a beautiful one. Anyone who can do that, can easily be a friend of mine.

I can teach English but I am sure you already speak English if I am meeting you. haha. I can also teach you about my travels or my cultures I have come across. Like a year with a Saudi boyfriend, an au pair in Belgium, or living in Poland, adventures while living in Istanbul,, S. Korea, and volunteering in Tanzania. ;)
