About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Keep studying back home =)

ABOUT ME

There's not that much to say or is it just to much...? ;-P
But I'm laughing a lot (and loud)...I like to talk, and I do that a lot as well ^^ I love studying biology, it still amazes me how life works and that everything is sort of connected to eachother...

I like to take pictures! My friends never take a camera with them, if they know I will be around ;-)
But I am a visual person anyway: drawing, painting, seeing old buildings or paintings....

When I don't go to the sea once in a year I get sick (well, my soul gets sick)... even when it's just for a day. I did that once with my friend and when it got dark she wanted to leave, but I wanted to stay and watch the sunset and listening to the waves!

I am open to new things... so if there is some activity I haven't done and it sounds interesting I am in!

Of course I love to travel as well ^^

PHILOSOPHY

I want to see the world with my own eyes ^^
And I think meeting new people and learn about other cultures makes us understand... "Peace through understanding"

"Laif is nau" to quote a graffiti from Florence ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Now that I am back home in Berlin I will be very happy that I can host again in my own apartment ^^

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spend one night in Bremen via CS, and it was so nice!!!
Now I've been even a host for a couple of times and it was really great!!! Talking and sharing experiences! Just so sad, when you have to say good-bye again...

Now I realize it can be an addiction! Its a virus! Hahahaha! I love to have surfers over, when I have time and I have to be careful not to neglect the things I have to do, because it much more fun to spend time with my surfers!
My Mom is a victim too, now she hosts almost every week someone and she loves it! =)

When I was around with a surfer, we met two young guys who said that I am crazy letting someone stay at my place I don't know, but I think how can I ever gain trust from people, if I don't trust other people first...

In Ireland we met some nice people via CS! ^^

Interests

Traveling, photography, music and arts, animals, ocean, nature in general, scrapbooking, reading, painting, I would like to learn more languages (if I have the time), walking with my Mom's dog for hours through the forest, riding my bike, kickboxing ^^

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a special music I like (it goes from Jazz over sometimes Hip Hop/ RnB to Rock, Alternative)...
The same "problem" with movies and books... I like fantasy stories (Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Avatar) but also thrillers or horror movies... and of course something to laugh about =)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are more than one ;-)
EDIT: I've been to the Great Barrier Reef! A dream came true, and that was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen!!!

I was an Au Pair in the USA... there I met so amazing people from all over the world... and after 6 years I'm still messaging and meeting these people... I have seen such nice places like the Niagara Falls, the Gran Canyon or Seattle... of course Washinton, DC was really nice as well ^^
I've seen marine phosphorescence at the shore of Helgoland (North Sea)... the glowing water was just amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm really creative, I love to cook (and my mom taught me german cooking ;-), and because of my studies I have knowledge about animals and plants... I could also teach German, but I always hear from other people it's so hard to learn ^^ ("Brazilians say: 'life is to short to learn german'")

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In
