ABOUT ME

I am a current student, working my way through college. I love traveling, but it takes a lot of budgeting and planning. I enjoy being active. When I am in school it's difficult to manage my time, but I enjoy reading. Until recently that was one of the only ways I could travel and learn about different cultures. I like to hike, ride a bike, work out, swim, have great conversations, take pictures, I am very interested in science (astronomy mainly), and like to learn about psychology.

PHILOSOPHY

Another year has passed me by, and although I must admit that I dread to tally up the years it also enlightens me to reflect on how much I have learned since the previous one. I know that when going through tough times its okay to lean on friends and ask for support. Today I stand before myself not to beat myself over my mistakes, but to embrace myself for all I have done, for that is what has made me who I am today. Nothing is ever certain, nothing is ever written in stone. No matter how hard I try to change a person I can’t but I can change the stars if I really choose to. I can take constructive criticism if it’s done tastefully. I am the same person that I was born into and I don’t care to change, or become fake to please others, only to become a better person for the benefit of myself and loved ones. I am nice, sweet, and generous once I know I can trust you. For the most part I am very chill, patient and relaxed. I try to be a good friend, but it can take me a little bit to warm up to you. Friendship is something I value and treasure, and I don’t think it should be handed out that easily. I don’t know what destiny holds for me, but I have learned to not care, for the day is today and tomorrow shall find me anew. I have learned that there is no such thing as distance when it comes to LOVE, and that TRUE LOVE doesn’t know any pride, selfishness, or fear, but quite the contrary. Now I know that when older people speak to you it’s not to deter you from reaching your dreams they are simply assisting you to reach them better, and faster. I may not know how to travel at the speed of light (186,000 mps) lol, but I am sure that if I were to travel through warped-space-time and back I still wouldn’t have great stories to tell as these I encounter daily here on earth…….cheers to another greatly lived out year……….

I am new to this community, but I am willing to host in the near future. I am currently re-locating myself, but I wouldn't mind meeting with visitors from out of town, and show them around Los Angeles a day or two.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw Eisntein's original formula E=MC2.....I was working for the museum and we had all his documents. Amazing how much power an old sheet of paper can hold.
