I'm a young professional from the Czech Republic, mostly living in our beautiful capital, Prague.

I'm not originally from Prague, but I studied my university there and apart from one year which I spent in Toronto for work, I kind of made Prague my base for this phase in my life.

And what is 'this phase' and where is it headed? I don't know! But I'm eager to find out :-)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love the idea of exploring a foreign land through the eyes of locals. I have never truly worshiped the concept of doing all the must-sees from the guide book and this is where a friend (or a friendly stranger :-) ) comes in.

However the idea of Couchsurfing for me is not only the traveling and exploring part. It's also the mutual discovery of different cultures and all the exciting stories and lives that go with it.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Two of my friends went to study in Australia and we haven't seen each other for a long time. So one day I decided I would pay them a surprise visit, which I did! I took another of our friends and flew from Europe to Sydney where we went straight to their place from the airport and woke them up by ringing the door bell. I don't have to add, that they almost got a heart attack :-)
