About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Leave behind the ratrace and live in the nature with family and grow our own food.
ABOUT ME
Until 2010 September I lived a "normal" life in Budapest, Hungary. Then my life took a big turn with travelling for 2 yrs and ended up in Norway. I fell in love with this country where I live now with my 11-year-old son. We love nature, chilling by the fire, meeting friends, and exploring new places by train
In 2025 winter I am gonna travel with my son finally in Asia. So looking forward to show him this lifestyle!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am happy to show anybody around our beautiful home, Sandnes. There is plenty to do for nature-lovers: hiking, surfing, climbing, kayaking etc.
And our appartment is open to host travelers. Happy to make dinner together showing you some local food.
And I would love it if you can cook something nice for us
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In September 2010 a more than perfect experience in Slyudyanka Russia: Spasiba Katya!!!
Amara in Ulanbator took us to his parents seabuckthorn farm, where we could try harvesting this tiny fruit. And we could experience the real mongolian hospitability and food.
In China I managed to meet plenty of people through CS, have dinner or walk in a botanical park.
..and I see now that I had more experience without any internet request, just asking people and we managed to slept many times at local people's home, like in Indonesia, Australia, or South America.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Interrail in Europe with my son
- Tibet TIBET! I will never forget those people, the food, the sky burial, the scenery.
- Cycling in the desert Argentina, no shower for 2 weeks ;) It is easier than we would imagine..
- Australia, at the edge of Tennant Creek, NT a very tiny town of 3000 people. We tried hitchhiking, but nobody took us for 1 day, so we slept at an aboriginal house. It was amazing to meet the locals, talk to them, hear the old stories about traditions, hunting for kangoroos, teaching the youth..
- Squatting for 1 month in Sydney
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you breathing exercises so you feel more alive and healthy.
And I love exchanging opinions about culture, music, life etc and FOOD!!!
I love cooking so I am happy to make you some Hungarian special dishes or bake a bread and I would love to learn new recipes from any country.
One of my missions is to let people know about Hungary! We are such a small country but it is quite useful if you study some words to communicate with any of these 10 million persons ;) And I am also crazy for any other languages!
