ABOUT ME
I'm a guitar plus literature plus cinema kid. I am Russian by nationality and Lithuanian by citizenship, and I honestly love the fact that I can indulge in both of these cultures. I write short stories and essays in Lithuanian but my dream is to become a filmmaker one day. Apart from all this I enjoy a bit of crazy fun now and then.
PHILOSOPHY
For every bit of fun, do at least one useful and purposeful thing. Your actions shouldn't contradict what you say.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think that CS is an amazing initiative. I always recommend it to friends who love travelling and meeting new people. Unfortunately, I cannot host neither in Vilnius as I live with my family nor in Brighton as I live in a shared flat. But I am always up for doing a little tour of the city, or having a drink, or simply a conversation.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have so far couchsurfed only once - in Prague, but it was a great experience and I got hooked. I also intended to go to New York City with my friend last year, but we eventually had to cancel the trip, even though we had already found a host. I also know some people involved in CS and I think that on the whole the CS community is amazing.
