ABOUT ME

I am currently traveling across South America with my partner Geoff. (He has a CS profile too but doesn´t use it much.) So, we are looking for couches across the continent! Currently traveling south through Peru after 2 months in Colombia. Next we are heading to Chile, hopefully all the way to Tierra del Fuego!

We have travelled, hitchhiked, and hiked all over the US. We have had many karmic experiences in our travels and enjoy keeping the torch of friendship, adventure, and love burning strong!

We are open-minded, adventurous people. We love nature, hiking, camping, just being outside. But we also like cities because they are full of interesting people. Geoff is a musician and a botanist, I'm a writer, and we play music together while we travel. We also like to cook vegetarian food and go to concerts.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

You can crash on my couch if I can crash on yours! Couchsurfing is fun! We will cook for you if we can stay with you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have crashed on many couches of people we have met on our travels. Only one time officially through CS, but many informal crashes! One of our best experiences was in western Maine, where we ended up crashing at an off-the-grid house in the woods where they had an all-night rager with live music and burned a 30-foot tall effigy! Fuckin rad!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen Mexican vaqueros castrate bull calves, then eaten the testicles (also known as "mountain oysters", they are considered a delicacy)

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about backpacking/outdoor survival, climbing mountains, organic farming, poetry and creative writing, being a gringo in Mexico. I want to learn how to play more musical instruments!
