About Me

*****Fully vacinated*****
(3 Shots Moderna,2 vacinations + 3th/Booster)

I grew up in Berlin, studied electronic engineering there, worked as a freelancer, later with own company in ITC Consulting.
Made some money, decided it s enough at a point, kind of retired, though strongly connected to former customers/colleagues for personel interest in tech.
Have a lot of free time nowaday,so I can travel a lot.
Love Reading as well-a lot-mostly Sf,history,political books.
Deeply interested in politics(forein politcs,International politics,geostrategical issues).
Used to write blogs and articles, though not for money but as a hobby.

Best way to travel:
Don t make any big plans, though its worth to inform yourself obout your destination.
"LET IT HAPPEN2
Any experience (almost) is a good experience.
Experience and explore yourself, without a guidebook or such, talk a lot to people, learn from them.

Yes I like animal and children,so kids, dogs, cats, rats, camels, even elephants are ok with me. ;-)
(I love elephants by the way) ;-)

Well I am "old" (55),feeling older every day.
Nope, not really: Old yes,but more or less preserved myself a childs curiosity for almost everything, the world as such.
Manny people, when they grow old loose their sense of wonder, their fascination for the wonderfull world we live in,we are free to explore and learn from.
They stop to ask questions, stop searching for answers, stop thinking themselfes instead of repeating "common truths" they are toled.
I try (hard) to avoid that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well I opend this account lonhg time ago.
just wanted to try it.
Travelled a lot before and after but never actively used couchsurfing for a long time.
Used hostels, private rooms, got invited by people to stay.
Met a guy from Poland last winter in Georgia(country, not Us).
He was active at couchsurfing for long time and motivated me to kind of reactivate my account and try it again.

So here I am...
