About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to be

ABOUT ME

I'm an open-minded, sociable person. I enjoy knowing people very much, and I'm keen to dive into their culture and try to learn their languages..!
I'm a bit a dreamer but I like to live too. ;)

PHILOSOPHY

I'm actually quite changing philosophically speaking - everytime you think now you got the truth, you realize you forgot something. So I'm kind of not so sure whether it's good to be seeking answers to the great questions of mankind. Maybe it's better to try to just live your life.. Don't worry be happy. ;) (but actually as I'm writing this I start to think maybe that's a bit irresponsible haha) Well as good old paracelsus used to say it's just a question of proportions.. Being happy is important, but consciousness of other people and our environment in general is just as important, and to care for others is a key to happyness as well.. maybe even the most effective.. (hedonism doesn't always make happy in a that sustainable way does it?)

Interests

everything. (the world and some parts of it, aand the universe (or some parts of it) - oh, we're somehow in a circle now aren't we?).

  • culture
  • writing
  • environment
  • beer
  • languages

Music, Movies, and Books

A lot.. e.g. Brave New World (Huxley), Crime and punishment (and some more of Dostoevskij), En attendant Godot (Beckett), Everything written by Ernesto Sabato, Plays by Albert Camus and J.P. Sartre, Ibsen etc.
(always wanting to read a lot more)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. My birth. I don't really remember it, but it must've been massive.
2. Arriving to Venezuela, first driving up to the city (through all the ranchos) and then, the very nice part, getting to know my host family (first thing they gave me was a beer :)) (I was 16) )
3. Then again.. somehow I think, everyday should leave us a bit awestruck.... (it's actually quite a wonder we're alive and everything, isn't it?)
