ABOUT ME

I'm not a relevant person.
I have many projects with no purposes in themselves but the sake of having them in mind. I'm not a big anti-capitalist myself but nothing I do seems to converge to words like 'productive' or 'useful'. Yes, I do study art and culture, as many useless people do. I wrote a master thesis on Batman, don't get me started.
I get interested with pretty much everything these days, except asian mushrooms. I can ponder about any abstract stuff I'd have in mind, but will always get lost about the important stuff of life, like my shopping list or taking my keys with me or putting the yoghurt in the fridge and the spoon in the dishwasher, not the opposite for all the Nordic pantheon's sake.

I grew up both as an outdoor person and a closet geek, and I try to balance out those pulsions. And after all the world is kind of a big open closet, I mean...yeah.
I wear black clothes and study old texts that no one understands, I like to learn more on languages, on art and on random things, funny things, weird things. Some people will define me as 'gothic', but I don't think I am neither a cathedral nor a book, though I'd be glad to be both (Well, only for one hour in my life).
I'm trying to quit sarcasms and cynism for a while, but it always gets back to me in the end. Poor me.

Oh, and I like people bringing music, who like to exchange their best book (I try to have one book in english to leave to anyone who wants it), and who like to preach for their artistic tastes.

PHILOSOPHY

The problem is that your spoon is always (or too often) irreasonably too big...or is it the bowl that is too small ?
Thing is, you may as well laugh at the situation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

as any regular member : by travelling and helping out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had some really good CS experiences while travelling in Sweden, living in Edinburgh and Grenoble ! CS made my life better, easier, and probably cheaper.

Interests

I am a music lover, I especially like all that is connected to folk music, I listen a lot of Metal bands (Viking Metal, yeah yeah), as well as Trip Hop, Hip Hop or anything that I find 'good'. I'm not that picky as long as there is a good feeling into it. Else I do listen to some real shitty music sometimes.

I like geeky stuff, stupid humour, horror and musicals, original music, cheap american comic books, spoons and high ceilings.

I like roleplaying games and Larps, I like cinema a lot, and sports such as Tennis, Volleyball, Hiking and Swimming. I'm also writing a book, and I try to write regularly, poems as well as short or long stories, comics stories as well. Not so hard a thing unless you have time to do it and a good idea that you can keep for more than two days and 3 hours in mind (that is efficient research, trust me).

And photos. Photos are good.
