Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am seeking a permanent housing solution in Austin. While the job is a great opportunity, it did not come with relocation package. I seek to couch surf for about 2-3 weeks tops while I search for suitable housing in the Austin area.

Interests

I like all things are, and poetry. I don't drink nor smoke, but I like activities one might enjoy while partaking, such as Cards against Humanities and Karaoke bars. I enjoy participating in Naturist events, comic book events, or Geeks who drink events.

Music, Movies, and Books

Prince is my favorite and I am still in mourning. I also enjoy Soundgarden, Nine Inch Nails, Profits of Rage, Imagine Dragons, New Edition, Jill Scott, Anthony Hamilton, Janelle Monet, Queen Bey, Shakira, Juanes, Mana, Step Riddeaux, Cupid and many more.
Any Marvel Movie or tv series are a win. DC are ok, but I am much disappointed on the storyline of BvS. Dead pool was a winner! anything with the Rock in it. Most psychological thrillers.
Books.... I am impatiently awaiting Winds of Winter :(
Read everything by Octavia Butler, Most by Anne Rice, Many by Toni Morrisson, Stephen King, and Dean Koontz.

I have been to Austria for the World Body Painting festival I look forward to returning next year.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach many types of art making, jewelry making, origami,clay, henna, face painting, drawing, sketching, and I also teach middle school math.
I am interesting in learning more about sustainable living, gardening, recycling, up cycling, etc.
I am willing to share my knowledge and resources on art, comic books, and live with all.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my love of art, and offer face/body painting and henna services for events and parties. I can also offer light vegetarian cooking, and smoothie making.
