Overview
About Me
Currently I'm working for an agency, doing stuff with code. However, in the distant future I want to do something else and am already planning to fulfill this dream. Furthermore I'm planning to live in Buenos Aires for a year or so, maybe around 2020, so I'm currently learning Spanish.
Other than that I heard I'm nice and kind, sometimes too nice some would say. Apart from that I usually am the mother of my group, the one that brings friends home, so there's that. I like to have a good laugh and have a need to go out as much as possible.
PHILOSOPHY
Be curious, not judgemental!
Keep your head up, keep your heart strong, keep your mind set.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Actually I like the idea of sharing the space I have. It's not like I'm not using my living room but if I can help other with offering my couch I'm more than open to do so. Furthermore I'll learn something new and meet interesting people. What's there not to like?
ON A SIDE NOTE ABOUT HOSTING
Obviously I love hosting other people. I love spending time with anyone who stays at my place but as I'm out with friends a lot, it is sometimes a little harder to find some time. Doesn't mean I won't spent time with you but sometimes I just don't find the time. However, I'm always up to go somewhere with you, have a beer or whatever you fancy.
Interests
On weekends I'm usually out with friends, discussing whatever floats our boat and going to Soli-Partys, Küfas or hanging out in one of our favourite bars. I'm not one who goes to techno/electro parties (- until recently. Apparently 2018 is the year it changed.) I don't even know any of the clubs, so if you are interested in that kind of Berlin I can't help you with that.
If I'm not in the mood to hang out with friends, which rarely happens, I sit in front of my console playing video games or cuddle my cats who are the nicest cats in the world unless they want too much attention while I'm fighting a endlevel boss in a video game ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
well I like psychology and also biographies. I'm not the reader at all but every now and then I have time to do so and enjoy it. I don't like those e-readers. I love to hold a book in my hands. I'm pretty much into Poetry (Sitwell, Dickinson) and I like watching netflix. My favourite shows at the moment are Orphan Black, OITNB and Midwife.
My other passion is music. I love to hear it whenever I can. The best way to learn for me is listening to music. :) Some of my favourites are Tegan and Sara, Großstadtgeflüster, Yellowpark, Killers and older stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
2016 I spent two weeks in Portugal with my best friend and we spent the weeks planting trees and just enjoying the calm life that came with it. Never in my life have I felt this free and relaxed.
It also was special to me to celebrate New Years in a totally new fashion with people I didn't know that much and not doing fireworks.
This year I spend three weeks on the camino Frances and it was the best experience ever. The walking hurt a lot but meeting people from all over the world made up for it. It's the kind, open-minded people that made this trip so amazing. I would recommend everyone who likes walking/hiking and meeting people to walk the camino.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm currently learning to play Ukulele and Spanish and I love vegan food. I make an amazing beet soup, I'll make it for you if you are up for it.
I can show you some nice vegan places to eat at or alternative bars with beer for 1.70€.
I heard I make really good hummus, so if you are into that. I can show you. Other than that I generally like to share my poetry books, so maybe that's interesting as well?
Generally I also share my stuff with everyone that stays at my place. Saying if you are really hungry (and it's Sunday and all supermarkets are closed), approach me and we check what I have there and cook together.
I feel like we should share whatever we have and not greedily keep it to ourselves. I think that makes our life better in general.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A calm place in suburbs for you to relax, nice conversations. Awesome cats who love cuddles and to play.
