Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess I could say Couchsurfing is quite.. huge. Initially joined to find shelter and meet good people, then hosted some cool people when I had an outstanding mansion-like property in Bangkok. Now I'm all for latin roofs - hosting too.

Interests

Politics, human rights, languages. I'm learning Spanish, or, Argentinian, if you like. I'm slowly making my way through the world of Spanish with an insufferable Argentine accent. May I never get rid of it.
I'm also interested in getting absolutely fucked up in a bootcamp or some other ridiculous sport-like event. I don't know where that comes from, it's rather new.
Generally I'm interested in people, cultures, habits, thoughts, ideas, views, beliefs, etc. I like to learn. I'm trying to become less of an idiot. It's not easy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Uhm. For the past weeks in Buenos Aires I've contributed enthusiastically to the cause of Pub Sundays. That means, you cannot miss Sunday for the pub. And neither can your friends. That was pretty amazing. I've done many likewise amazing things but I can only name one.

Teach, Learn, Share

I applied for a huge scholarship and I actually got it... Soon to be super educated and then I might have something to teach.

What I Can Share with Hosts

One of the happiest moments that I can remember was quite recently, on a terrace in Buenos Aires with my mate. We were hungover and a bit shaky but the sun shined and we suddenly realized how happy we were and we almost cried. Fun stuff.
