ABOUT ME

If I am to tell my personality in a nutshell then I'd say I've tasted life and got addicted to it. I've enjoyed my youth well and as for now I would like to visit places on Earth that are beyond compare and certainly need telling. I hope to achieve it but whatever the reasons that might drive me off-roads, it sure isn't for want of trying.;)

Other than that, I'm a regular person which has the opportunity to work within a multicultural framework and deals mostly with foreigners in a daily basis.

Back then in Portugal, I used to be a lazy student who merely wanted a surfboard and rip some waves.:) Although I've experienced some great things in my life, I still think there's nothing that drills me most than a sunny Sunday in the company of some good fellas, fresh bear and seafood.

Last, traveling is of importance to me and I'm always up to listen to new ideas and different ways of living that can provide an enrichment of my personality and a new way of living and thinking.

PHILOSOPHY

In the simple things one will find the glisten of life.

Besides science my main interests span from musical instruments, history, international politics, photography, woodworking (small scale ships), Japan culture and surf.

I used to surf often back then in Portugal however Netherlands doesn't have that hhuuggee waves that I love so much and at a slower pace I'm drifting to Kite-Surf which is quite popular here. Still, there's nothing than drills me most than riding waves and dive-in whenever they're close to crumble!

During my childhood I used to play in garage bands (kind of Jimi Hendrix style however guitars were neither burned nor broken:)), therefore, as a weekend hobby I repair old guitars and amplifiers every now and then.

Photography it also part of my favorite hobbies even though I've not found the proper time lately to do it and have put it down for a while.
