ABOUT ME

I'm 29 years old Czech who is heading back to Europe (after living 5.5 years in Australia) to discover what I want in my life. I think the best way you find yourself is visiting places on the earth I always wanted to go to - the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Spain... I'm pretty friendly, mature, easy-going, down-to-earth, brought up in good manners, conscious of others and their needs. I treat others the way I want to be treated. I hope that's self-explanatory.

Over the time I discovered I don't need much in my life. My last living was very simple without clutter...paradoxically even the little seemed to be a lot. As long as I have somewhere comfortable to sleep on, am able to take a shower, wash my clothes and have a bit of space to prepare my simple meals, I am very happy.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything happens for a reason...either it is good or bad experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no couchsurfing experience but heard about this site from my friend. I have no expectations from my potential hosts apart from being friendly, trustworthy and open-minded. I would very appreciate if I was given some good advices or tips from them while being on my travels. I'm definitely not expecting from a host to be my babysitter as I find myself being independent enough. I also don't want to be burden but a potential friend to my host. However, I'd be very appreciated to learn about the host, been taken around if he/she likes and is available.

Books: about self-development, fitness and health & nutrition, life psychology, reading about countries and cultures

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing in my life was living in Australia. I have never thought the country would become my second home...and I did not even realize how much I love the lifestyle I found there.
I will never forget the time when I was very new there and people on street offered me their genuine help...so unusual in the country where I come from.

- have seen Dalailama in restaurant on Byron Bay...he simply walked out at the moment I was entering the restaurant
- deep-sea fishing in Noosa

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn to go with a flow and not to be scared of unknown. I also tend to over-think and make numerous scenarios. I desperately want to stop being like that so I've been working on it by challenging myself.

I'm not a planning freak but I like to know where I am staying and what doing in short future. World of endless opportunities and possibilities is not my home ...not yet. I freak out from the ocean of possible directions we can take in our lives. My intention is to learn how to be laid-back about it.
