About Me

I moved to Minturn, CO in August of 2014 to work in nearby Vail. Getting to some big mountains was a long time coming and I have been loving it. I am an avid mountaineer and I enjoy most other outdoor sports as well. Winter time brings snowboarding at both the resort and the backcountry. I also love to play music, sports, video games, and probably lots of other things.

I have been absent from Couch Surfing for awhile but I am looking to get back into it. I love meeting new people and hearing about their adventures!

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a wide variety of tastes in movies but a clear stand out is Interstellar, it is one of my favorites. But I like a lot of movies in all genres.

I like the best music in all genres. It depends what mood I'm in. I could be listening to heavy metal on minute than bluegrass the next, and everything in between. I have written a few songs, but I don't like my voice so I don't sing often.

Reading is always better than movies. If I have the day to myself I can go through a 400 page book in just a few hours. I don't read nearly as much as I used to though, I have been to busy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Grand Teton via the Upper Exum Ridge.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am pretty handy with computers, since i worked with them for years. I also know a lot about construction, specifically tile. I have worked on cars a decent amount and I have spent a good deal of time in a military setting.

I would jump at the chance to learn anything. A new trade or skill is one of the most valuable things to have. I'd much rather do something myself than pay someone else to do it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am always up for company on my adventures and I love to share my experience in any area! I love to cook, always enjoy deep conversations, and I am handy with a wrench if you will.
