About Me

I'm very passionate meeting new people, exploring and having great conversations.

Laid back, and always open for new adventures. I like to watch and play hockey and soccer. I play the piano and ukulele, and travel as often as I can (my uke comes with me!) I like writing about my experiences, and try to document them as much as possible on a blog. I've started dabbling a bit in photography and am very much enjoying that.

I've recently been getting into podcosts during my commute, and gravitate towards space and science ones. I also love a good pun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been on Couchsurfing for a few years, have gone to a few meetup events at home and abroad, and have given some advice for people traveling to the Bay Area. I'm used to staying in hostels, but I'm looking to get more involved in the Couchsurfing community, hosting when I can, and staying with fellow Couchsurfers while I travel.

Hit me up if you're looking for suggestions for fun spots to visit in San Jose, Santa Cruz and the surrounding areas!

Music, Movies, and Books

70's and 80's are my favorite decades for music. Tears for Fears, Wham!, Queen, Jimi Hendrix, Creedence Clearwater Revival, etc

Gladiator and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind are my favorite movies. Can't go wrong with Marvel either. Big Star Wars nerd.

I love classic novels the most. Nathaniel Hawthorne and Oscar Wilde are my favorite authors. And for newer stuff, of course I love Harry Potter!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've completed a week long, 55 mile backpack trek in Three Sisters Wilderness in Oregon. I've also been skydiving twice.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play the ukulele!
