ABOUT ME

Hi everybody!

I consider myself to be out going and fun loving! I especially love to travel, I have explored 18 states of America and many parts of Europe. I have also spent 6 month travelling in South Africa. I love meeting new people from all different cultural backgrounds and learning from others experiences.

I love the idea of meeting friends through CS as otherwise the paths of all extremes of people may never cross!

However, after my couch surfing experiences my new philosophy is that you should never judge a person too quickly and have an open mind when meeting anybody, first impressions are important but they aren't everything!!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I discovered CS after spending a freezing night camping in the middle of nowhere, on a 5000 mile road trip with Abby Simons. We crossed America from Missouri to California and back, stayed with a variety of different and amazing hosts. We stayed in, San Francisco, Monterey, Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara and Huntington Beach and many other locations. So far my experiences have all been very positive and some of them have been unbelievable and unforgettable. Im honestly amazed at how generous most of the hosts have been with both their home and their time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best experience I had during the road trip was actually standing up on a surf board after one of the CS hosts was very patient in teaching me!

I've seen so many amazing sights that I just cannot chose one, Red Rocks in Denver, Mirror Lake in Wyoming, getting up close to the Hollywood sign, the lights of Las Vegas! Its all been amazing!

I think the most amazing thing I have witnesses was in the Kruger National Park during my time in South Africa, I have seen a pack of 13 Wild Dogs, a very rare sight and also had the opportunity to see a wild Rhino, something that many others may not see if they continue to be ruthlessly poached!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have been fortunate enough to meet an amazing man who has recently become my fiancee. We will be travelling together and between us have some fun and interesting tales. We also both love to cook and would enjoy preparing and sharing food with our hosts.
