I am a woman who is happy with little in life. My children, my friends and my family would tell you that I am a person of the heart, generous, smart, creative, sensitive, open minded and spiritual but not religious. I am 50 years old and started travelling few years ago. I am on a leave without pay for one year from my teaching job and I started travelling in January. What I love the most in my travels are the people with who I connect and have cultural exchange.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people and travel differently. I live in Yukon, Canada and even if I wasn't a host with couchsurfing, I welcomed so many people at my house and it always been a pleasure exchanging informations with them. Learning from them and share informations about my area.

Interests

I love human beings, nature, hiking, gardening, herbs, yoga, skiing, meditation, reading, music and art. Sharing good time with friends and family. I am vegetarian and I enjoy cooking. I am clean and like my things to be well organized. I always have plenty of things to do.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love classic music and lately I am into some good French music. In fact the only music I don't like is hard rock. The book I prefer at this point of my life is "The Power of Now". I enjoy watching educational informative media like the Ted talks.

I love to teach, that is one of my passion in life, but I found out that my best teachers have always been my students. I am very happy to know that I could have great exchange with new people with couchsurfing.
