About Me

I'm a kid at heart and I relish new experiences. I like to step out of my comfort zone, and once in a while, I like to lose my comfort zone completely. I'm what's called laid-back but I'm not a lazy thinker and I value peace, harmony and humour. And good manners are important for me too. Please. Thank-you. After you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've discovered that the best way to travel is to meet and befriend the local people. Wether showing around or being shown around, it is an exciting and heart-warming experience.
I've had about 10 Couchsurfing experiences before, both as a surfer and as a host.
I'm solo now (with this new account), starting fresh and reinvigorated and looking forward to many new CS experiences!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music, except derivative top-40 and really heavy heavy-metal. My favourite kind of music is typically hip-hop or anything latin such as salsa, samba, flamenco, etc. I have played in my own hip-hop band, too! I'm a big sci-fi fan and I like to read novels but I also love sci-fi movies, especially anything to do with time-travel or alternate realities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've climbed Mt. Fuji twice. The first time I didn't sleep at all and the 2nd time I was miserably cold. But I enjoyed it greatly.

Teach, Learn, Share

Opening up and talking with people is the best way I know of teaching and sharing. I'm glad this isn't a job interview because I don't have a whole lot of marketable skills, haha.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share knowledge and what I've learned through the experience that is life. The best things I can share are hugs and laughter. Oh, and if you need some Japanese lessons, let me know!

Countries I’ve Visited
