ABOUT ME

I'm new to this, and there's nothing harder than having to write about yourself. Anyway, I'll try to be brief, I think the other boxes give away a few clues.

I study French at university, love French Canada ie. Quebec.... and have been recently converted to the religion of ice hockey.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Vancouver Island 2010, I found myself without a place to stay and my friend Emma invited me to join her couchsurfing in Victoria. Heather and Brandon who we surfed with were so welcoming and I joined CS immediately afterwards.

Interests

Travelling, scrapbooking, art, photography, cycling, music, squash, cooking (I'll make you a mean banoffee pie), making sushi - this is a bit of a new one but fun and messy all the same, tennis, fencing, hiking, camping, horseriding, Japan (my no.1 destination to go next), reading, meeting new people - maybe that one should go first?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

BUNGEE JUMPED OVER THE NILE after whitewater rafting down it!! Ahh the adrenaline!

Whilst in Quebec I went bear watching at Fairmont Kenauk (beautiful experience, such powerful creatures) - not crazily wild but brilliant to see.
