ABOUT ME
People tell me I'm funny but I just consider myself a good storyteller. I'm obsessed with traveling, reading, and decorating things. I am curious about global politics and international issues. I get lost in fits of imagination. And -- the way to my heart is with handwritten letters. My favorite foods (in no particular order) are guacamole, cake, and cheese. I love good wine, good company, and a good story. Sometimes I laugh so hard I cry!
PHILOSOPHY
I wanted to be a travel writer so, in 2007, I packed up my life and moved from Seattle. I ended up in Hungary, Italy, Croatia, Mexico, and now South Korea! My life goals changed a bit along the way and instead of being a writer, I went back to school to study international security issues. Alas, here I am, living in Seoul working as a teacher and spending all my free time volunteering at two NGOs (both working to resolve issues in North Korea).

Music, Movies, and Books
I freakin' love books! This is an intense subject for me... generally not a casual conversation :) Haha.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my life goals is to visit 30 countries by the time I'm 30 years old. I'm currently on country 26 and I'm 27 years old, so I'm right on pace. I've witnessed so many cool things in all these places, I can't even begin to explain them. We will just have to talk about it in person over a drink :) :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I've visited all these countries and I would love to share stories back and forth.visited 26 states (11.5%)Create your own visited map of The World or Like this? try: Visited Countries
