Since then I extrapolated it into my life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

***IMPORTANT***
Well, I thought that there was no need to write that, but recently I have received too much messages that are not in relation with sharing the culture or something similar (some of them even are not a request to stay at my home), at least, in the way that it’s for me. I thought too that I had a very specific profile: there is not a selfie in anyone of my pictures because I consider that for sharing good moments the looks is not important. But, seeing the flood of messages that I’m receiving lately (I hate the generalizations but a lot of them are new members) I would like to point out some things. First at all, Couchsurfing is not for dating, is for sharing cultures and experiences, beyond the consequences that can carry to meet really nice people, but not in first instance. To all those who are interested in find to his/her counterpart I would recommend Tinder.

Secondly, I really appreciate people address to me using my name (although I know is not guaranteed that you’re not doing copy/paste, at least is a consideration that you read my name). I really appreciate that people reads my profile, I think is very important, not only for me but for you. I like that people who writes me has something in common with me or, at least, if you don’t have anyone maybe you are interested.

And last, when I receive a friend request, I don’t accept unless that I meet the person or in his/her profile I see something that agrees with me (in this case, even I’m the first to contact you because for me is interesting). New member without profile, I’m sorry but I’m going to ignore your friend request.
Moreover, I hosted and I’m gonna continue hosting people that doesn’t have any reference because all of us have the need of a first time and someone has to give us the first reference. I gave to some people and I’m in disposition to give it again.

I don’t want to look like a stupid, really, and I’m a little annoyed to have to go at this point. But people that like me believe in the essence of Couchsurfing, must to clean this image that it has been degenerating a fair amount this last time.

Having said that, I really like host people from every country, religion, conviction, etc...

Ah, another thing! Please, if I decline your request, it's not pleasant for me, so don't write me back continue trying. I host people almost every day, even if I have my job and my studies, and some more else. If I decline is because I really cannot host you, is not a whim.
