I suppose my mission is to find what makes me happy. Family, friends, and music are all part of the happiness.

PHILOSOPHY

I think we need to be more compassionate in the way we go about our lives. This starts with the patience to tolerate someone whose values and customs don't agree with your own.

Led Zeppelin, Medeski Martin and Wood, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Beck and Radiohead. Recently I've gotten into Queens of the Stone Age, The Kills, Bill Frisell and Fleet Foxes.

Right now I'm reading Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse. Last book I finished was Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in Armenia for two months was pretty awesome. I lived with a host family who didn't speak a drop of English and I was five years past being rusty with my Armenian skills so it took me a couple weeks to brush up on my language skills. I travelled around a lot of the country, saw more stars than I saw the open sky, met a lot of interesting people and ate a LOT of delicious food.

Teach, Learn, Share

Conversation is the best way to share with someone. You gain wisdom through interaction. In this sense I'd like to think I have many things to share.
