About Me

ABOUT ME

I am an independent traveller, eagering to learn from places and people. Me and my backpack (my longest relationship, we've been together for 17 years already) love travelling around the globe and meeting new people, although the truth is that in the past years I've had less time (or more personal commitments) and I've been taking less long trips.

Five years ago I decided to quit my job and start studying acting. On 2015 I finished my studies on acting and I've already participated on my first professional play. That has been the best decision in my entire life.

I'm frienly, love learning new things everyday, open minded, generous and a bit stubborn sometimes. I'm in love with a fantastic man with whom I share my life, my dreams and my projects. He has a toddler who is 2 years old and I'm also an aunty to a 2,5yo and a few days-old boys. I love playing with kids.

I think life is so perfect if we watch it with the right look.

Cheers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm interested on the sharing economy and the degrowth movement, including cohousing and other social movements to create networks. I try to implement degrowth on my daily life as much as possible. I don't see Couchsurfing as a way to travel for free, but a way of being more human. Capitalism and modern societies make us fear strangers, anything or anyone which is not a friend, a relative, someone we know. With Couchsurfing we open the doors of our homes to people we've never seen before and in exchange for nothing (economically speaking). So that's why I'm on Couchsurfing. I don't expect to make friends, I just want to be more human:)

Interests

I love theatre for sure. I also love reading, one of the authors I've been reading more lately is Stefan Zweig, I could say he is one of my favourites. I like trying to make the outmost of my life everyday. I like dancing, and although I'm on my way to the 40s, me and my boyfriend dance quite often still.

I love the nature, both the mountains and the sea.

Being surprised by life everyday.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Offering a couch, I can offer the spare bedroom on my home as well as my willingness to learn about you, some meals together and invite you to join our plans, to the extent possible. I'd love you to show you how I live:) I can also give you tips about the best in Madrid, although due to work, rehearsals and personal life, I won't be able to take you around all the time, so independent travellers are very welcome and very appreciated.

As a guest, I can offer my experiences, my ability to cheat even with a wall:)
