About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Fill up my passport before it expires

ABOUT ME

I just finished a 4-month volunteer program as an English teacher in Coquimbo, Chile, and I've just gone home again.

I graduated from Amherst College in Massachusetts with a degree in Spanish, and in 2007 and 2008 I spent 11 months abroad, studying in Spain and in Germany, in addition to visiting many European countries. I moved to San Antonio, Texas after graduation, where I live with my mom and small brown dog, Hershey.

When I have a free moment I like to hang out with my friends, watch television or movies, and read. I still need to figure out what I want to do with my life, I guess, although I'll continue to substitute teach when I return to the United States.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm still working on this one, but I'd like to make sure I take advantage of every moment and every opportunity I am given. When I'm 80, I want to have no regrets and I want to be proud of what I've done.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing and encouraging all of my friends to join. Trying to get to meetings and find fellow surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed 3 couches in Chile, 2 couches in Portugal, 1 couch in Vienna, 1 couch in Budapest, 5 in England, 1 in Wales, 2 in Scotland, 2 in Ireland, and 3 in Germany. I've hosted in San Antonio. And I've gone to several meetings.
