I'm Jaime from Colombia, born and raised in Bogotá, a city that has a lot to do with who I am and the things I want to do in my life. I have just arrived to Brisbane to do a PhD and I'm gonna be here for a while, so I'm trying to discover the city and all of what Australia has to offer. I think the time we have on earth is too short to appreciate everything we have around and inside of us, so I make an effort to make the best of the time I have, traveling, learning, teaching, walking, taking pictures and loving music.

It's been a while since I decided to get into CS due to a trip I was going to take to Sao Paulo, Brazil. Since that wonderful experience I decided CS was a great tool to aid my trips and to meet new and wonderful people... and it has delivered, much more than I expected. So I'm still here looking to meet new people, new perspectives on life and new adventures, either hosting or surfing.

兴趣

I love photography and I keep lerning everyday. I couldn't say music is a hobby for me because it is part of who I am, I love music, or at least listening to it because I can't play much except a couple of bass notes.

I am interested on other people's views in life, other cultures, languages and everything that makes me realize the world itself is infinite when you take into account every person's world.

My favorite genres of music are Trash and Death Metal, but I listen to a lot of different things and I particularly like the 60s and 70s rock. My music spectrum has widen quite a lot in the past few years, so I'm always open to listen to new things.

I can teach you about Bogotá, or at least most of what I know about this wild city which cannot be fully understood. I can share with you the music I love, the pictures I take and my perspective on this crazy thing we call life.

I'd like to learn new languages, get to know a bit about other cultures, food, countries, travel destinations.
