Taking a 3 week trip to Boston, NYC, and SF to check out grad schools. Would love to meet video makers and other creative people

ABOUT ME

I'm in a state of pushing myself towards new experiences and meeting inspirational people.

My degree is in Anthro, and I love talking to people about culture and their experiences.

I'm visiting the East Coast to check out grad schools. Next year I plan to start a marketing program, and hope to transition to a career in the entertainment, music, or advertising industry.

I love live music, especially hip-hop. I assembled and manage a hip-hop duo. It's really fun, but time consuming. Helping my friends achieve their goals is worth the time though.

Video making is a new interest of mine. In the upcoming year, I have a goal of producing videos that involve dance, cooking, and comedy. There might be some comedy in the dance and cooking, but no dance in the cooking :)

I like to cook, and recently have preferred eating in rather than dining out. It would be fun to cook with my host, if there's an opportunity.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy hosting folks and would like to surf some more in the future. I am also a member of Seattle Homebrewers Group.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed with some lovely folks in Vancouver, B.C. I know, it's really close to Seattle, but it was nice to meet locals for a change.

So far I've hosted 10 surfers.

I'll update this when I see my first unexplainable UFO.

My UFO hunting group was skywatching a few years ago, and we saw something enter the atmosphere, [a meteorite, perhaps?]. It streaked, and exploded, lighting up the sky like a firework. It was really amazing, and I realized then how much I miss out by living in the city.
