About Me

HAVE NO FEAR VLAD IS HERE!

Hi I'm Vlad! =) Im 26 years old

I am a very multi-cultural person. I am born Russian in Riga - Latvia, but now I live in Denmark.
I speak Russian, English and Danish and understand a little bit of German, so we should be able to communicate =)

As a pearson, I am very open minded, always seeking the best in people with a smile! I love to meet new people and cultures. And I feel that I have a lot to offer with my personality =)

and can't wait to meet some nice new people =)

Yeah, and I kind off feel like beeing Dug from the Disney PIXAR's Up atm xD I I I I I I IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

Such a lovely movie! xD

PHILOSOPHY:

Law of Attraction - Think possitive and the energy will make everything happening for you!

Smile! =)

As much as possible trying to stay out of the lazy zone and do something instead! Altrough it happens =)

P.S. I can be a little bit shy in the beginning, cause of bagage from my past life. But I try to live in the moment and control my Monkey brain.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had a really great first timer experience with couch surfing, in the summer of August 2012.

Since then I have been loving everything about it! And I think I have gathered a little experience allready in this field, at least as a host...

So...

AS A HOST:
I will welcome you, show you around the area, the cheap (is anything cheap in DK?) supermarkets (where I usually buy my own stuff) and the restourants/fast food places (if you need)... And of course travel around with you if you wish...

To be honest, I only host, to get to know new people, share cultures and have a great time with my guests... So in a way, I think it is a shame if you just/only came here to use my (very small) personal space as your bed. Especially if you are two and only speak your own language between each other, without including your host in any way (it's good to train your english or local language while you are abroad, just saying!) Then I think you should seriously reconsider your visit, or at least me as a host. The thing is, if you really wanted to be alone (most of the time) it would be totally okay, but then there are many beds available at hstels and Airbnb?! Everything in moderation, of course, I wont be like glued to you, as I have my own stuff to manage, but if you at least invite/invovle me to a few of your trips, then I thinks it's fair ;)

Everyone should be able to have a nice time here without somebody in feel of beeing used! This means that, we can cook food together & do stuff together, BUT ONLY BY SHARING THE BILL. And I would of course ask you to clean up after your self!

Now why so sirious? Let's put a smile on that face! =)

AS A SURFER:
I would generally enjoy your company. If you can show me around your place and tell me where to go, that would be very nice of you. I am generally very polite as a person and always tend to leave the places as I found them, so you dont have to worry about that. I will even clean up, if I need space to cook or my cocktail creation! HOWEVER, Im not your cleaning lady!

Yeah, I would love to create a cocktail or two for you and others if the opportunity arrives, not that I have to, and definitely not for free, but usually when people are willing to give their share for the ingredients, I would love to be the maker... Also if you have any wishes of something to bring you from Denmark, please tell...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I usually always had a place to stay or some familiy and friends to be with, but now it's much harder to organize a good spontainious trips, because you always have a tons of stuff to do, especially when you are studying and the plans just don't fit that often with friends, so I decided to travel alone last summer. And that turned out to be one of my best decisions in my life...

Since, I have gathered some more CouchSurfing experience and now hosted a decent number of people. But it will not stop here or anytime soon, because I love this CouchSurfing thingy and see it as a great extension of me and as a great hobby...

But I suggest you read the references below... The time I wrote mine, would be more or less the time I hosted or surfed somebody. I tend to write them as soon as possible while the memory is still fresh! =)

Music, Movies, and Books

Big fan of almost all the Superhero movies! =) Else just a lot of action, thriller, horror, comedy and drama

Very broad taste, like from electro and rock to classic music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had to face my fears. I don't know if I have inherited the fear of heights from my father, but that should not stop me from parachuting from a plane. I have done it 2 times and it was just amazing! You know just the fact that you are beeing uphold in the air by a piece of fabric. It gives me creeps, but in the same time it's just amazing, that it's possible.

I had never really done the skydiving part of the jump, becuase I didn't continue the education. But I have tried it in another way, Bodyflight - In the wind tunnel... Also amazing experience, altrough very tiring...

Registeret myself up here to CouchSurfing and met new people!

Went to the europian bartending school for 1 whole month in Kos, Greece

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I am multicultural, so ask me anything in Danish/Russian and perhaps you could learn something.

Never stop learning! You can always get better!

I can teach you to make cocktails, it's SO easy, but it still requires knowledge and a lot of experience to become the good mixologist and get the feeling of balance between the different ingredients ;)
