CURRENT MISSION

Right now, I am starting to use couchsurfing. I actually bought a new couch, so now there is a nice, comfortable place to sleep for two people in my appartment! I am looking forward to my first couchsurfers!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to host people just for the sake of it. I think projects like couchsurfing are developing trust among people which is a very good thing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I have not used couchsurfing so far, I love to host people in Prague and I have visited a lot of people around Europe as well. Three years ago I hitch hiked France and Belgium and we always stayed at some friend's place, it was a great experience!

Interests

I love music and literature, I studied sociology and Spanish language and literature. I love singing, I sing in a band, I play whatever instrument I can get my hands on. I read, I like poetry, language, I like to play with words and find new meanings, I like to talk, exchange views, learn new languages, especially if they sound interesting! I also love skiing, mountains, snow, forests, hiking and I am an avid tea drinker.

When it comes to books, there is a lot of them I like: from Borges and Cortázar, through César Vallejo, Salman Rushdie and Umberto Eco to Herman Hesse, C.S. Lewis, Béla Hamvas, Daniil Charms, Nietzsche and Schopenhauer.
I love movies and series that stay with me long time after I saw them: The Hours, Zodiac, Sherlock, Baraka, Dead Man, Stalker. Movies that create worlds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the sea for the first time! Being from a country that has no see, it was an incredible moment: the immensity and the colour.
Skiing in the Alps: going down the hill and feeling the air and the space.

Teach, Learn, Share

The things I can share are varied: throat singing, the best way to choose, prepare and enjoy a good cup of quality tea, I also love to teach languages to anybody who would listen. I always like to learn to cook something special.
