ABOUT ME

Since 1998 I have devoted my life towards sustainability - socio-economic and environmental. Everyday I seek to find balance between hard work and play. Work consists of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy while play consists of art, music, fun outdoor activities (sailing, kayaking, swimming, mountain biking, snowboarding,etc. I have a fairly rich social life with all the amazing people I have been blessed to have in my life, many artists and musicians, philosophers, and shakers and movers. I love playing games with friends, be it frisbee or an intense game of dominoes. I feel most alive when I travel and have traveled Europe, U.S. and Caribbean pretty extensively.

Interests

Interests? WoW! Everything really...from Paracelsus and Socrates to Permaculture and Gardening - mountainbiking , sailing and kayaking. Lets just say I am interested in all the finer things in life like nature, friends, real food, music, games, art, and adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like music from drum circles and acoustic jamborees around a campfire to thievery corporation, chem bros., mmw, david grisman quintet, grateful dead and beatles, Bob of course, rambo amadeus, KKN, Darkwood Dub, gypsies in the trolley bus, etc.
One of my favorite books is Gaviotas but I like everything written by Tolkien, Edgar Allen Poe, Socrates, Paulo Coelho, Robert Graves, Jared Diamond, Orson Scot Card, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived with the Navajos in Black Mesa Arizona for two weeks and participated in a sweat lodge at the SunDance ceremonial grounds.

Crossed the Atlantic 16 times by the time I was 14 years old.

Worked my ass off with a group of students at University of Vermont to start a Clean Energy Fund - now in 4th year over $2,000,000 in funding for Renewable Energy projects on campus!

Ooh - and I saw Ricky Scaggs play with Phish :)
