Overview
About Me
I'm free spirited but a grounded person. Very easy going dude with dread locks. Some might say I'm a self-aware hippy. As-in, a modern hippy with my head not in the clouds. I don't partake in 420. However I don't mind if others do so around me as long as its in open areas. i enjoy some quality beer from time time. Brewery tours are always fun! I am a social person but I also need my quit times to reboot. I do enjoy my 8 hours of sleep and need them to be full and active the next day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
They're a thousand reasons not to travel, and sometimes I forget that. I get caught up working too hard and too long in one location. The hostel I was managing (Banana Bungalow) just changed ownership and have hired all new staff leaving me with time to adventure and find out more about myself. Through out my travels I am potentially looking for a new city to set up as my new spot. I will always hold San Diego in my deepest regards but I think its time for something new!
Interests
I really like longboarding and playing frisbee. Either a game of ultimate or just tossing the disk around is a good time spent outdoors. Hiking and camping are always great (just not so much in deserts..) I can be a fan of Netflix as well. Good food! How could I forget about that! I was a chef/cooked in kitchens for the past 10 years and if your lucky I might make us a bomb dinner :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 23, my friend called me up out of the blue and told me he was leaving in a week for a cross country road trip and was leaving in a week. So I quit the kitchen manager job I had(hated it anyways) and left everything behind. So for 2 moths we wondered around the US with no plans except with the destination of San Diego at the end of the trip. By far one of the best experiences of my life to date. Nothing but the open road and a good friend to find out what America is really like.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a wonderful cook and had been doing it professionally for 10 years until I started managing a hostel in San Diego full time. So expect a wonderful meal if I am staying with you for more the a night. General handy man type stuff. Put up a shelf, need a room painted, leaky faucet, I can help out.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Mexico
