ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Valeria, I am originaly from Brazil, but live in the United States for 13 years now. My husband and I want to travel the word, and we will. We are planing a trip back to Brazil for this August so I can see my family and next year, 2013, we will backpack accross Europe. We are fun and laid back. We love meeting nice and fun people and we consider ourselves to be nice and fun, too.

PHILOSOPHY

Be present, enjoy the little things and smile...a lot!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are very new to couchsurfing!

Interests

We moved to Colorado about 3 years ago and we love it. We have been getting more and more into all the fun outdoors activities that our new state has to offer: hiking, camping, biking, etc...We also loveeee food and we are looking forward to experience first hand the amazing cuisine of the countries that we will visit. Tom is really into world history while I am into psychology, photography and beautiful beaches and mountains. We both enjoy very much cities and the country-side and are looking forward to some great adventures abroad.

Music, Movies, and Books

Have you watched Kumare yet? You should! We are both into good documentaries. When it comes to music, I am pretty eclectic. Books...ahhh, there are way to many to list here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left my family, my country and move to the US. I learned the culture, the language, graduated from a great American School. I traveled a lot inside the US and Brazil...We went to the biggest black market in the world (in Paraguay), saw Christ eye to eye (in Rio), got splashed by one of the biggest waterfalls in the world (Cataratas do Iguacu) and celebrate on the streets when Brazil won the world cup (this is truly something to experience).
