ABOUT ME

A ceramic artist from Latvia. After graduating from Falmouth University in United Kingdom, I have returned to my childhood home to set up a pottery in rural Latvia, and attempt to grow some dill and skill.

In my "free time" I teach children and youngsters ceramics and sculpture in the local art school.

I love to do what I do and am very passionate about clay and the hand-made, so have become a bit of a workaholic and like to spend all my time perfecting my skills and trying to become better at what I do.

When I manage to get out of the studio I enjoy running around with my 5 horses, nature walks, making food for my family and friends and sauna on Sundays is a Must Do!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

have surfed when travelling around Europe as much as possible, hosted a lot while living in Riga for 3 years, now much less since not so many people know there are other places in Latvia apart from the capital :P

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had only positive experience so far! I think the most amazing part is that I can again and again get convinced that there are so many wonderful, helpful and brave people in the world ^__^
